It Starts With An Idea

The TRUSU ICE Club helps students of diverse backgrounds, skill sets, and experience network and collaborate on ventures that might not be possible individually. They host events that aim to inspire, cultivate, and enable student creativity in social and commercial endeavours. Each event that the club puts on will give students the opportunity to have real-life experience, network with local professionals, and provide them with resources to develop their goals and future careers.

On December 3rd is the ICE Club’s Annual “It Starts with an Idea” Pitch Competition! Students and members of the community can send in a 90-second video of their business pitch which will be judged by local professionals. Applications for the competition are due on November 26th and can be found at  http://iceclub.trubox.ca/application-form/

The virtual event will be held on December 3rd on the Big Blue Button platform. All the videos will be played at the event and the judges will announce the winners and award the prizes at the end of the event! The link for the event can be found here: https://bigblue1.tru.ca/b/t00-guz-9w7
